Organization Membership Benefits

New organization members receive a membership package and access to “Members Only” online resources via an appointed organizational representative.

New and renewing members will have their organization profile, logo, and URL/hyperlink posted on the NMGIA website. They will also be provided a mailing list of NMGIA members who wish to receive organization marketing materials.

Organization members will receive listing in and copies of the NMGIA newsletter that features news from NMGIA’s chapters, committees, and members, article of interest to the gang investigations field, and listings of available training. Members will have the opportunity to publish one advertisement in each edition of the NMGIA newsletter.

In addition, organization members will have the opportunity to conduct training workshops and display booths at special NMGIA training events, hospitality events, or other special occasions, sponsorship opportunities of special NMGIA publications or hospitality events; access to regional commands; and, preferred access to Sponsor/Exhibitor spaces at the Annual Training Event.

NMGIA has several organizational membership classes. Renewals differ by class and membership fees are assessed by the NMGIA board. If you are interested in becoming an Organizational member, please apply here! 

ORGANIZATION-APPLY

Supporting Agency

  • Partner Organization: A government entity, steering committee, professional development committee, non-profit organization, or similar entity which had demonstrated and continues to demonstrate support of the NMGIA mission, purpose, and functions.
  • Liaison Organization: A government and/or non-profit organization or a committee under such organization which NMGIA consults with and/or serves on in order to further the overall NMGIA mission. These functions may include, but are not limited to: developing qualification standards and competencies for the field of gang investigations, reinforcing the concepts of professionalism, dedication to service, and integrity within the field; and, devising and supporting professional standards for career development.

Academic Institution

An accredited academic institution with a criminal justice curricula which supports the purpose and functions of NMGIA. The following documentation must accompany the application: a list of the criminal justice program faculty; and courses offered.

Corporate Member

A corporation or other business entity which demonstrates and continues to demonstrate support of NMGIA purpose and functions.
