Group Discount

The NMGIA offers group discount rates for applicants based on the amount of members. Membership rates are discounted per member and are applied to the total amount of members in that package. A higher amount of members = a higher discount rate. All members who are going to be registering under the group account do not need to be present to apply for the package. Only the initial applicant needs to provide their information at the time of application. The initial applicant will be registered as the group administrator, which can be changed later if necessary. Group Administrators are responsible for adding new members to the group. A group administrator cannot add an existing member (as identified by their email address) to a group. A group administrator should be a  supervisor, at minimum the highest ranking or most senior personnel.

Incentives

• Group members share the same renewal date, status, and membership level. 
• The entire group is charged a single membership fee, which is paid by the group administrator. 
• Membership groups are not given names but are represented by the name of the group's administrator. 
• A group administrator can add brand new members to the group, or add existing non-member contacts. 
• Group membership accounts are issued a dedicated online group discussion forum.

Investigative Unit

Group memberships are ideal for individuals who are employed by a criminal justice agency with an embedded investigative function of which they are permanently assigned to. If the Investigative Unit includes individuals who do not qualify for Regular Membership, but meet the requirements for Associate Membership, they may apply under this category or be added later (provide job offer letter(s) or a memo on an agency letterhead).

Group Discount Rates

• Diamond Group - $375.00 Annually for a group of up to fifteen or more (15+) members ($25.00 per member). 
• Platinum Group - $312.00 Annually for a group of up to twelve (12) members ($26.00 per member).
• Gold Group - $243.00 Annually for a group of up to nine (9) members ($27.00 per member).
• Silver Group - $168.00 Annually for a group of up to six (6) members ($28.00 per member).
• Bronze Group - $87.00 Annually for a group of up to three (3) members ($29.00 per member).
